About Us

Fibreglass Industries Association of Andhra Pradesh (FIAAP) is a state level Organization established in the year
2003,with a sole aim of developing fibreglass industry in Andhra Pradesh.

This association is a registered body under AP public societies Act 2001 and is the biggest one in entire india of its kind with the membership of around 500. FRP sector employing about 10,000 persons directly and another 10,000 persons indirectly.

The Association's services are well recognized by some of the National Bodies like MSMEDI, SIDBI,AIRPMA, CITD,NISIET, FRP INSTITUTE, TIFAC, PLAST INDIA FOUNDATION, QUALITY CIRCLE OF INDIA and state bodies like FAPCCI,APPMA,AIMO,APITCO, state and central universities included reputed Engineering collages in india, andproud to mention that this body has been nominated in the governing council of FRP INSTITUTE and REGIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF CIPET, Hyderabad.

We have organized National seminars on GRP, FRP and number of technical programs, industrial visits, meet manufacturers programmes, work shops, etc.. Beside ,we are Publishing our quarterly journal "GRP Mission-News & Views" with Technical Write ups, success stories, programs and also technical developments in fibreglass industry that are taking place in the sub-continent and in other part of world, to enable our members to improve, sharpen the skills, and adopt the ideas and changes constantly taking place which contribute for the uplifting the activities and improving economic viability.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE STATE:
Development of small scale and cottage industries, Employment generation by 3 to 4 folds, Minimal capital investments, new technologies required for many applications, Potential contributor to the state Exchequer by way of commercial taxes/Excise duties.

We have dreams, we have vision and mission to see that the fibreglass industrial activity in our state grow steadily and rapidly and become number one state for GRP composites from its concept to consumption.
